It looks like, despite updates and patches designed to help create a better experience, players in the open beta should expect long lines to get in and actually play. Diablo IV The Early Access beta had trouble right out of the gate with connection problems, long queues, and many other problems, making the game nearly unplayable for the first 24 hours. ![]() was definitely the case with Diablo III launch and, more recently, with Overwatch 2. Last weekend’s beta showed off a number of cool new features we can expect Diablo IV (And some less-great changes too) and reminded us that Blizzard often has problems with big game launches. Everyone will have to wait for this weekend, when the open beta starts.
